Christmas decorations

1. Gold star bauble

You will need:

First, spread a thin layer of glue with a paint brush halfway up from the bottom on both halves.

Fill the bauble with the gold stars, close it and shake carefully to spread them around.

Let the glue dry clear and tape the bauble shut with clear tape and you have a nice bauble to hang on your tree!

2. Chain of hearts

You will need:

  • Polystyrene hearts
  • Red paint
  • Paint brush
  • Glitter/gold decorations
  • Clear drying glue
  • Needle and thread

Paint the hearts red and let them dry completely

Paint on the clear drying glue in the shape you want the glitter or golden decoration. Pour the glitter on and shake off the excess.

Repeat for all the hearts, and maybe leave one clear to mix up the pattern.

Get your needle and pull the thread through the middle of all the hearts so that they hang in a line after one another. Hang the chain on a shelf or on your tree!

3. Christmas tree candle

For this very simple idea you will need:

  • A neutral coloured candle (Optional: Forest scented)
  • Paint
  • Paint brush

Start painting on the Christmas tree starting with the tree.

Let it dry and start adding the decorations, as you would when actually decorating your Christmas tree.

Place on your shelf or on your table and you have a Christmas themed candle to give your house a Christmasy feel!
