1. Kinder Bueno Mousse

(recipe from Planet Food on facebook)

This recipe makes for 2 small pots/glasses
You will need:

  • 4 pk of Kinder Bueno
  • 60ml + 240 ml double cream
  • 150g milk chocolate
  • 2 small glasses/pots (From Poundland)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Mixing bowls
  • Zip lock bag
  • Electric whisk

First, you need to set one pack of Kinder Bueno aside for decorations. Then break the rest of the pieces into small bits, add them to the zip lock bag and crumple them with a rolling pin or any other tool that will to the job.

Scoop everything out into a small bowl or cup. It is a layered mousse so add parts of the Kinder Bueno mash in two glasses/pots and add a tablespoon of milk to each of them.

2. Chocolate Chip Chocolate Cookies

Makes 15 medium+ sized cookies or 40 small

You will need:

  • 185g plain flour
  • 90g cocoa powder
  • 280g soft brown sugar
  • 180g unsalted butter
  • 150g dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs (lightly whisked at room temperature)
  • 265g chocolate chips (this may vary, I used 200g and found that plenty)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Bowl and pot for bain-marie
  • Mixing utensils

First, preheat the oven to 180 °C and put baking paper on two baking trays. Sieve the and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl and add the sugar. Make a hole in the middle.

Cut the butter into cubes and the chocolate into little pieces and add to a heat-resistant bowl.

Boil water in a pot, remove it from the plate and put the bowl of butter and chocolate on it. (Make sure that the water does not come in contact with the bowl and that steam does not reach the chocolate.) Mix until smooth.

Add the chocolate mix and the eggs to the dry ingredients and mix it all together (do not mix too much). Add the chocolate chips.

Depending on the size and amount of cookies you want, add spoonfuls of mixture to the baking tray. Not too close together or they will stick to one another. For the medium sized cookies bake for 20-25 minutes. For the small ones bake for 7-10 minutes. Let them cool on the baking tray for about 5 min before transferring over to a cooling rack.

Pour a glass of milk and enjoy!
